Children’s music chair
This project was part of an AA summer school held at Grymsdyke farm in Buckinghamshire. The brief was to design a chair for a school music hall designed by a student from the AA.

I wanted to marry the design of the chair to the building, the columns of the building have a unique angular nature which is similar to that needed for good lumber support. It also allows for the possibility for the chairs to be hung from the columns as a form of storage.
The chair is made of English oak that has been stem bent or CNC milled.
